When we join a Network Marketing company, we do it because we want to be “our own boss”. We are sure that we can be successful because we are determined to make it a success. We know about the importance of positive thinking, having our “why” and being persistent in the face of adversity. The one thing we may not have thought about, however, is accountability.
In Corporate America, we are accountable to our direct manager or supervisor, he/she is accountable to their manager and so on, all the way up to the CEO or company owner. This is called a line of “accountability”. We think that we don’t need this in Network Marketing, but that is not the case.
For any business to be a success, a model needs to be followed, and the only way to accomplish this is to be taught the model, to implement the model, and be accountable to the person teaching the model.
The same goes for Network Marketing. If a company does not have a model, a person to teach that model to the distributors, a way to follow the model consistently, and accountability to the person training the distributors to use the model, the distributors and therefore the company, cannot be successful.
The secret to success in Network Marketing is to find a company with a proven model of success (sometimes called recipe), and follow it to the letter. If a model (recipe) has proven successful time and time again, then if any distributor follows it, it should enable the distributor to become a success.
I am fortunate to have found the elusive model/recipe for success. It is a duplicatable process that works for all distributors regardless of the network marketing company you work with.
